Agents will be the operating team. We will be the board

For years, a vision needed a lot of capital to flourish. You had to hire a big team before knowing whether the idea worked, and most of the money went into operating, not building. That is changing faster than most people imagine.

What I already do in my companies

I programmed my companies' platforms myself, and today they run largely on agents. Agents do most of the daily work: the repetitive tasks, the ones with clear rules, the ones that used to fill calendars. I govern from the boardroom, with the vision and the decisions about what to build. I work with specialised providers instead of building large traditional teams.

It isn't a theory. It's how I run Daleki Global every day.

People as the board

I believe agents will be the operating team of the companies of the future, and that people will be their board: the ones who bring the vision, the judgement and the decisions. That gives enormous power to entrepreneurs and visionaries. One person can now carry out what used to take dozens of roles, and I believe we'll see unicorns run day to day by agents.

Some things are never delegated: decisions about money, what gets published under a brand's name, prices with a client, hiring or firing. I keep those human.

The other side

I also know what this means for anyone who depends on an operational role. That role will have to evolve, or it may run out of opportunities. That's why the human side of work matters so much to me. I believe in leadership that backs people, treats them well and helps them move up from operations to judgement.

The question is no longer whether agents will reach your industry. It's whether you'll be on the board when they do.
